Hot Air Balloon Rally Launches Saturday Morning at Museum

Guests will enjoy watching balloons take off, early museum admission and breakfast.

MCMINNVILLE, OR. - Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum will be home to the launch of a dozen hot air balloons on Sat., Aug. 30 at 6:33 a.m. The rally is being hosted by the Willamette Aerostat Society.

All launches will take place on the south side of the aviation museum on the morning of Sat., Aug. 30. The public is invited to attend the balloon launch free of charge.

Following the hot air balloon launches, the new Space Museum will open to the public at 7 a.m. (for Sat., Aug. 30 only) and will be serving a special breakfast buffet of eggs, country fried potatoes, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, juice and coffee for $13/adult and $5/child (ages 5-16). Guests can enjoy breakfast and tour the new Space Museum for a combination price of $25/adult and $16/child.
