Mark your calendars!

Join Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum this August for our Eclipse Event Weekend (Saturday and Sunday, August 19-20) and Viewing Party (Monday, August 21). Throughout the weekend we will have hands-on activities and informal presentations to get you ready for the main event. With advanced online purchase of Museum admission for Saturday or Sunday, you will receive viewing glasses which serve as your ticket to Monday’s Viewing Party.

On Monday, the eclipse party begins at 7AM! In addition to hands-on activities and some great food vendors, to celebrate, we will have NASA Solar System Ambassadors and representatives from community groups like the Rose City Astronomers on hand to help us learn more about the eclipse. Both Museum Cafés open at 7am. In our Theater, we’ll live stream the eclipse as it races across the US (courtesy of NASA).The location of the Museum—McMinnville, Oregon—is in the path of totality, so we'll all view the eclipse together and afterward you are invited to spend the day with us continuing the celebration. Get here early! Our parking lot opens at 6AM and will fill up quickly. Once our lots are filled you will be directed to offsite parking with shuttle transportation available.

Viewing Party tickets for Monday are $5, which includes viewing glasses (while supplies last) and admission to all outdoor activities and presentations. Additionally, attendees of Monday’s eclipse event can purchase Museum admission that day at a discounted price.

Tickets include:

  • One (1) pair of solar viewing glasses
  • Access to all outdoor activities
  • Access to the solar eclipse presentations in the Museum Theater

Eclipse Event ticket does not include access to Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. Admission to the Museum is separate.
