The whole family can experience a day of discovery during our monthly STEAM Saturdays! 2nd through 9th graders can dive into the world of aerospace discovery with a new topic each month. Plus, after dropping off the kids, parents can explore the sites and sips of McMinnville.
Launch into the exciting world of rockets! Students will build and launch their very own rockets, plus meet professionals in the industry that make rockets for a living.

Jump into the pilot’s seat, and dive into the basics of flying! Students take the wheel on-screen and in the field with our Flight Simulator Lab, flying their own drone and exploring behind the scenes of our most famous aircraft, including the Spruce Goose!

Take a crash course in robotics with this interactive workshop where students will build and operate their own robot! They will discover the many types of robots used today and use LEGO robotics to build and code robot creations.

Discover the growing field of astrobotany, and learn the different ways to grow plants on Earth and in space. Students will uncover what is needed to live in space, how to plant and harvest a variety of vegetables, and learn what goes into improving life on Earth and beyond!

STEAM Saturdays give 2nd through 9th graders the opportunity to dig deep into an aerospace topic with experts in the field.
Evergreen Museum has partnered with local aerospace professionals to give young explorers a unique experience filled with discovery, teamwork, innovation, and creativity.
Time: 10 am – 2 pm
Cost: General: $50 | Members: $40
Each class includes a full day of activities and a boxed lunch.
