On Hold!

We regret that our annual Holidays at the Hangar and Polar Express events are postponed until new dates can be set as per the Governor’s mandates. Please check back after December 17th for updated information.

Nov 22, 2020

Due to Oregon State Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to hold our annual Holidays at the Hangar until after the Governor lifts the restrictions for museums. Ticket holders will have the option of a full refund or to reschedule once we are able to reopen. We will be reaching out to ticket holders to make arrangements. Again, we are very sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment caused by the situation.

We're excited to kick off this year's indoor holiday-themed light show, located inside our 110,000 square foot Aviation Museum building (the one that houses the Hughes Flying Boat Spruce Goose). We have 40+ aircraft—including the Spruce Goose—decorated with colorful LED lights, winter and holiday themed vignettes and picture points located throughout the building.

  • Clean & Safe Holiday Experience - limited space and reservations ensure a fun, clean and safe, exclusive experience.
  • Miles of lights decorated on Museum exhibits and aircraft
  • Museum Gift Store will be open with ‘Holiday Discounts’ for all attendees.
  • Santa Claus available for photo opportunities
  • Fun photo opportunities throughout the Museum
  • Letter writing station: write a card/letter to our troops
  • Storytelling area

Location: Aviation Museum building
