Coleman’s inspiring life story\, related through a live theatrical performance by her great-niece Gigi Coleman\, encourages individuals to achieve their dreams. \nCome along with us on our 1-Day Barnstormer Camp on February 16th\, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Barnstormer Campers benefit from the live performance of Gigi Coleman in addition to a full day of activities. We honor Bessie’s Flight Training Center legacy by inviting 30 students to join our own Flight Training Center for the day. DESCRIPTION:Presenter: Donn Anderson \n\nNASA’s OSIRIS-REx (Origins\, Spectral Interpretation\, Resource Identification\, Security – Regolith Explorer) is the first U.S. space mission to orbit a near Earth asteroid and return a sample from it safely to Earth. This seven year mission to Bennu successfully landed its capsule last September. Analyzing the on board sample will help scientists understand the early solar system\, as well as the hazards and resources of near-Earth space. Please join us for a glamourous New Year’s Eve to remember! \n\n \nPurchase Tickets \n\nGuests are encouraged to where cocktail attire\, but if you really want to dress to impress\, then by all means  put on your  1940s retro attire and represent the Golden Era of Aviation\, and enjoy an evening of mingling and frivolity to celebrate the new year! Stroll the Historic Aviation Museum and marvel at the grandeur of Howard Hughes’ H-4 Hercules (“The Spruce Goose”) and numerous vintage aircraft and exhibits. Dance to the ’40s tunes of live 17-piece “Jumptown Big Band” beneath the glimmering shadow of the Spruce Goose. Enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres while striking a pose for our professional photographer. Ticket holders are invited to be seated in our Giant Screen Theater by 3pm to enjoy the celebration’s live speaking engagements.  Private pilot and KOIN’s Chief Meteorologist Natasha Stenbock will share her passion for flight and introduce retired Navy Blue Angel pilot Greg “Boss” Wooldridge. \nGreg Wooldridge is the only Naval Aviator to serve as commanding officer of the the U.S. Navy Blue Angels three separate times. Greg will share his insights on the the history of aviation\, his own experiences\, and the lasting impacts of his favorite aerospace heroes over the last 120 years. \nA limited number of VIP ticket holders will have a chance to meet Greg in person for pictures and autographs at the conclusion of the celebration. \n
