DESCRIPTION:In 1950 the small town of McMinnville\, Oregon was struck with UFO fever when a local couple spotted a flying disc over their farm\, making national news. 50 years later\, the fever descended again with the very first UFO festival. \nTo help celebrate this awesome annual McMinnville event\, we are going to be showing MARS ATTACKS! in our Aerodrome Giant Screen Theater on Sunday May 17th. in fact we will be offering a double feature:\nStarting with a 3D Space Documentary “Space: The New Frontier” featuring narration by Chris Pine\, followed by Tim Burton’s Mars Attacks! Since 2026 is an even year\, we have to wait until 2027 for the next SR-71 Symposium event to return. However\, we do plan to have a special father’s day event this year dedicated to celebrating our collection of Lockheed Martin Skunk Works aircraft (SR-71 Blackbird\, F-117 Nighthawk\, F-104 Starfighter\, and the D-21 Supersonic Recon Drone); we like to call it our Stealth & Speed Fair! \nOur Father’s Day ‘Speed & Stealth Fair’ offers guests a chance to experience the world of Skunk Works design. \n\nGuests will have a rare opportunity to peek in the cockpits of our F-117 Nighthawk and SR-71 Blackbird.  \nMeet the techs and experts that made them go.\nLearn more about what and who makes Lockheed Martins’ Skunkworks so amazingly successful.\nGet special Father’s Day Discounts on cool gear from our Gift Shop.\n\nThe event is free with paid regular admissions.
