DESCRIPTION:Please join us on November 2nd for a day of celebration to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the first and only flight of the Hughes Flying Boat (a.k.a. the Spruce Goose).\nThe celebration features:\n\n– Special film presentation: ‘Oregon Bound’ by Peter Dibble\, in the Evergreen Giant Screen Theater.\n\n\n– Extended Aviation Museum hours (open to 6:00 PM)\n\n\n– Half-Priced Museum Admissions\n\n\n– Fun activities\n\n\n– First peak at the improved Spruce Goose Experience\n\n\n– A special event to mark the actual time of the flight\n\n\n \n\n\nThe special event kicks off at 1:00 PM with a special showing of ‘Oregon Bound\,’ the story of the Spruce Gooses’ journey to McMinnville\, followed by guest speakers and a live HAM radio transmission with the Howard Hughes Radio Club in Culver City\, Ca. \n\n\n \n\n\nAnd stay tuned for additional celebratory events throughout the year.
