SUMMARY:Honoring Oregon's Fallen Heroes
DESCRIPTION:Please join us this weekend as we host the Oregon Vietnam Veterans Memorial Replica Wall. \nA ceremony honoring Oregon’s Fallen will be held at teh Museum entrance at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 28th. \nKnown as the ‘Wall that Heals’\, the wall is a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial along with a mobile Education Center\, is coming to the Museum and will be open 24 hours a day and free to the public – starting Friday March 27th thru 29th.  The Wall That Heals honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed forces in the Vietnam War\, and it bears the names of the 58\,281 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam.dedicated to our Vietnam War Veterans\, MIA\, POW\, and KIA. \n \nIn addition\, the museum is featuring our Vietnam Veterans exhibit. The is surrounded by our Vietnam War era aircraft and features a quiet place for reflection and opportunities for veterans and loved ones to leave notes sharing their thoughts. \n
