There are some exciting changes coming to your Museum and I am anxious to share them with you.

We have been awarded the Lockheed P-791, the most advanced airship ever created. The aircraft will come to us from At2 Aerospace and then we will begin the process of reassembly for exhibit. This project will take some time to complete but, once on display, the aircraft will be a sight to see and experience. At 120 feet long, 50 feet wide and 30 feet tall it will be hard to miss. Luckily, we’re pretty good at large, hard to miss aircraft around here.

Our momentum continues! We expect another stellar addition to our inventory in the coming months. While we can’t disclose what it is quite yet, if our recent proposal to the United States Air Force Museum is successful, you will be among the first to know. We’ve got our fingers crossed and hope to give you some great news soon.

After a year of planning, this month we are making some major changes to improve our storytelling and enhance your experience as a visitor. Our aircraft locations will be reconfigured to exhibit our inventory by type and function rather than by era. This will showcase our unique collection of Ground Attack, General Aviation, Rotary Wing, Experimental, Early Flight, Trainers and Forward Observation aircraft.

My favorite part is that a great selection of our fighter aircraft will be exhibited together in the Titan Pavilion in a new exhibit called “Fighter Town USA.” This exhibit will walk you through the foundational fighter aircraft of WWI to the present era, explaining the evolution of the type from pure interceptors to the multi-role functionality modern day F-series aircraft are tasked with.

Please say hello if you are visiting; I would appreciate meeting you!
Regards,
Scot Laney

Chief Executive Officer
