Experience History – Museum Tours

Evergreen Museum Tours allow guests to make the most of the visit.  You can take advantage of a private tour of the Spruce Goose cockpit or a guided tour of both our museums with one of our expert Docents.

The Spruce Goose Experience

Guided Spruce Goose Cockpit Tours

All museum guests have the opportunity to step back in time as they enter the cargo deck of the Spruce Goose.

However, Evergreen guests can take their Spruce Goose Experience to the next level as they venture into the Spruce Goose Flight Deck to see where aviation pioneer and inventor, Howard Hughes, once sat for the historic flight back on November 2, 1947.

The 15-minute tour behind the scenes of the Spruce Goose includes exclusive access to the cockpit, and flight stations on the upper flight deck.

The tour capacity is 4 people per tour. Tours are available for $15 per Person. Be sure to ask about our Membership & Group discounts.

For Planning Purposes: Tours are available on a first come, first served basis and they normally sell out by noon. (Reservations not available)

The Evergreen Experience

Guided Evergreen Museum Tours

Our Docents offer Guided Tours twice daily – 11:00 am & 2:00 pm. These tours are an exclusive experience, lasting approximately two hours. Our volunteer docents, many of which are veterans or aerospace professionals, will take you on a tour of our historic aircraft and rockets, landers, drones, and other space equipment. You will leave this tour with a unique insight into our aircraft and the folks who built, flew, or kept them flying.
You may join a tour at either time, just ask our staff or docents for details and start location.

As always, our Docents are available to answer your questions and share their experiences in both the Aviation Museum and the Space Museum even when not giving tours.
