Experience History – Museum Tours

Evergreen Museum Tours allow guests to make the most of the visit.  You can take advantage of a private tour of the Spruce Goose cockpit or a guided tour of both our museums with one of our expert Docents.

The Spruce Goose Experience

Private Cockpit Tours

All museum guests have the opportunity to step back in time as they enter the cargo deck of the Spruce Goose.
However, for an additional $30 per group (up to four), evergreen guests can take their Spruce Goose Experience to the next level as they venture into the Spruce Goose and sit in the pilot’s seat that aviation pioneer and inventor, Howard Hughes, once sat for the historic 30-second flight back on November 2, 1947.
For Planning Purposes: Tours are available on a first come, first served basis and they normally sell out by noon. (Reservations not Available)

Guided Docent Led Evergreen Museum Tours

Get an exclusive look at our Aviation Museum with a guided tour by our knowledgeable docents. Guided Docent Tours are an exclusive experience, lasting approximately one hour. Our volunteer docents, many of which are veterans or aerospace professionals, will take you on a tour of our historic aircraft. You will leave this tour with a unique insight into our aircraft and the folks who built, flew, or kept them flying.
You may purchase your tour online or upon arrival (Space Museum tours are free of charge when Docents are available).

As always, our Docents are available to answer your questions and share their experiences in both the Aviation Museum and the Space Museum.
