The Grit Factor: Q & A with the Author

Shannon Huffman Polson, author of The Grit Factor and one of the first women to fly the Apache in the U.S. Army,  joins the Evergreen Museum for a short reading, followed by questions from you.

Her recent release of 'The Grit Factor: Courage, Resilience and Leadership in the Most Male Dominated Organization in the World,' draws from interviews with dozens of leaders in the vanguards of their military fields, including three generations of aviators from across the services, Polson offers insightful stories and takeaways for all of us, especially in challenging times. 

Amy McGrath, the first woman to fly the F/A-18 in combat and Kentucky Congressional candidate says, "if you aspire to become an outstanding leader, this book is a must read."
