Paul Schweizer

Paul H. Schweizer became a sailplane pilot at 14 years old and by the time he was 18 he was an experienced sailplane contest pilot and flight instructor.

Paul’s aviation career began at Boeing where he worked as the preliminary design engineer on the Compass Cope unmanned vehicle program. In 1977 Paul joined the family business at Schweizer Aircraft Corporation, where Paul oversaw the marketing and finance departments as well as developing new lines of business. Schweizer Aircraft was purchased in the early 2000’s by Sikorsky. Paul retired in 2009.
