Add a Museum in a Box (MiaB)
Our popular option to bring our Museum experience to the broader community is now available in our museum as a field-trip add-on!
In one hour, students solve real science problems, see rare exhibits from our Archives, and participate in a class-wide challenge for prizes! Minimum 5 students required.
For scout groups: we can also do customized MiaBs who want to earn their Merit Badges!

reserve our theatre
Located between the main Museum Pavilions, the Aerodrome Giant Screen is one of the largest operating cinema theaters in Oregon. It can play 2D and 3D educational films, or it can be reserved for something unique for your group.
Tickets and concessions can be reserved in advanced for both students and chaperones. Minimum 30 tickets required per screening (including chaperones).
stay overnight
Educations groups who want to come to the Museum over the weekend are welcome to stay past Museum hours to camp out in the area just north of the Hercules Pavilion.
This is ideal for scout groups who want to add a bit of the outdoors to their visit. Bathroom facilities, provisions, and access to water must be arranged independently.
