Almost perfectly preserved are these handwritten notes by Howard Hughes himself on Beverly Hills Hotel stationary. This particular note details the concept Hughes had for the Hercules H-4, or “Spruce Goose.” There are about 10 different pieces of stationary, all discussing different concepts for the flying boat.
