History Continued: The 1973 Yom Kippur War

Topic: On Yom Kippur, October 6th, the Jewish Day of Atonement, Egypt and Syria attacked Israel. By October 25th, the UN had ceased fire, and the Israeli forces were prevailing on all fronts. The war resulted in Israel being secure, with their armed forces dominant in their part of the Middle East. It eventually led to a peace treaty with Egypt. The presentation will go into details about the campaigns and steps taken through the weeks of this war.
